FASHIONABLE FLOWERS

Last weekend I went to the South Coast Botanical Gardens with my husband, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, niece and nephew. We had fun despite the almost 100 degree weather. My husband, Jeff and I love taking close up pictures of flowers. There are just so many details you don't notice unless you look really close. Jeff is a biologist, so he usually explains the different elements to me. Did you know that some flowers have both male and female parts? I included these pictures in my fashion blog because so much of what we produce is just a replication of what is around us. We weren't the first ones to create textures, patterns and color schemes. Jeff and I have an ongoing debate about which is more enjoyable to look at: man's creation or God's creation. This time...he wins! P.S.
