1980's Fashion: Thank you Madonna!

It's been creeping in for a few years now, but I think it is time for my very belated admission: The 80's are here to stay. I was resistant, due to what I would consider decade-long faux pas. Let's recall the tremendous shoulder pads, neon scrunchies and thick matching socks which were made exponentially worse by layering several pairs. I think when trends come back around they are often done more tastefully, or so we perceive it at the time. I guess there is no getting around the fact that today's fashionista is tomorrow fashion victim. Here's to living in the moment - a little inspiration from the queen of the 80's herself: MADONNA!
