Salvage Life's New Studio

I got the keys to my my new studio space this week and have just started to move some stuff in.  I don't have any furniture or fixtures yet, so there are just a bunch of rolling racks and card tables in there currently.  The outside is bright yellow which I hated at first, but I think it is growing on me.  Inside it has clean white walls, bamboo floors and high ceilings. Did I mention there is a backyard?  VERY excited about that!  There is also a little storage house in the back, which I have a lot of ideas for.  The space was the former home of a Zen Center so there is a lot of light, but I definitely want to remove the shades and change the curtains in front.  Here are a few pics I snapped before I started moving things in.

How adorable! Will this be a work space or a retail space? I once went to a shop like this and the back house was a treasure drove of discounted vintage. Adorable space!

Oh that is SO incredibly cute, I'm quite envious! Can't wait to see it when you have it all set up and are moved in.

Beth, it's adorable! I love the yellow, but that's just me. It looks bigger than our house - honestly. So when will it be ready to shop? :) hugs

Umm, that's pretty rad! Shit. My "studio" alternates between the crammed space of my messy laundry room and the bed where I do my internetting :-)

Nice that there's yard space too, the little miss can entertain herself while you work on those dreadful days when running a business and being a mom meet head on :-)
