One of the things I do a lot of around here is cleaning and I'm not talking about my floors (though they desperately need some attention). Almost every vintage item that comes through our doors needs a wipe down at the very least and if I'm unlucky, three or more rounds of soaking. I have some tried and true techniques that I have used over the years and I continue to add ideas to my arsenal. One of the concerns that is expressed by many customers is how to wash their vintage garments. Many are hindered from wearing and even buying vintage because they don't know how to care for it. In the coming months, I will share some basic cleaning instructions for different types of vintage garments along with some more advanced techniques and strategies for transforming something old and dingy into something that sparkles like new. Can't wait to share with you!

Dearest Beth,
You are a smart lady for handling all this. It certainly is rewarding and I must say that vintage clothing is made of far better garments than some modern outfits. Thus they can handle their special care.
Looking forward to your tips and tricks.
If you have a chance, would you please take the word verification off. That will for sure result in more comments = more links.
You can read about it here: http://bit.ly/wuDl5h
Wishing you and baby all the best for your coming weeks.
Love,
Mariette
